Little did I know when I purchased this gift that the receiver used to sit with her husband (now deceased) and have salmon spread with crackers while they watched TV. Needless to say, the gift was a hit and the boat it came in was Wonderful!!!

We ordered a couple of these seafood samplers as gifts for the holidays. Both recipients were pleased; one said she served the canned salmon to drop-in guests and that it made her look good! We were pleased that Alaska Smokehouse delivered as promised.
Beware of high salt content

Bought this for my parents thinking they were getting something healthy instead of all those sweet snacks in other gift packages. It was delivered timely and in good condition. Unfortunately the salmon is extremely salty. Not only did it taste VERY salty to them, but the labels confirmed the high salt content on each container, including the smoked salmon. They offered to give the gift boat to a friend, but after tasting it, he refused it, saying it was way too salty! My parents will try to find someone who wants the salmon, since they can’t eat it. They said they have received salmon gift packages from other companies that were not too salty.

I purchased this gift basket for my grandfather. This is THE FIRST gift I have purchased for him over the internet that he has not complained about. I found a WINNER!!! Not only did he tell me it was yummy and it will take him awhile to finish it all – I have since received 3 more e-mails, just to tell me how yummy it is!
